Finding helpful answers can be challenging.
Although you have fantastic goals, you often seem to lack the motivation or know-how to accomplish them. Past experiences, such as mistreatment as a child or trauma, may keep haunting you, and as a result, they create stress, impact relationships, and keep you emotionally on edge.
Perhaps you feel on edge, anxious about what might happen if you take a particular path. The anxiety you feel makes it impossible to move forward positively.
Perhaps your job or relationships with peers are creating unnecessary stress. It could be that financial worries or career choices are hard to navigate.
Sometimes, life’s complications and our past experiences can impact every aspect of our lives, including relationships, job performance, happiness, and confidence. Individual therapy offers a chance to work through challenges in collaboration with a professional who has your best interests in mind.
Here’s how I approach therapy.
I work with adults who feel stuck in patterns of anxiety, emotional reactivity, shutdown, or chronic overwhelm – often despite years of insight, effort, or previous therapy.
Many individuals I support are highly functional on the outside while their nervous system remains in a constant state of bracing, exhaustion, or vigilance.
Individual therapy focuses on resolving the underlying impact of trauma and attachment wounds that continue to live in the nervous system.
Using Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), we work to reprocess distressing experiences so that they no longer intrude on the present, allowing emotional responses to soften and regulation to return without requiring detailed retelling or prolonged exposure.
Relief from life’s challenges awaits you.
Individual therapy is most effective for those seeking meaningful relief rather than endless processing and who are open to a nervous–system–informed approach.
Such therapy may not be a good fit for those seeking crisis-only intervention or purely skills-based coaching without trauma processing.
If you are interested in my approach to individual therapy, please don’t hesitate to contact me today, and we can discuss your needs to determine if we are a good fit.
